Maureen O'Malley is an actor, director, musician, and writer living and working in the Twin Cities. Born into a family of "theatre people," Maureen was only 3 years old when she booked her first gig in the film "Here on Earth" alongside Josh Hartnett and Elaine Hendrix. After a childhood spent onstage, in the recording booth, and with her nose buried in a book, Maureen decided to continue her artistic training at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre.

As an actor, Maureen has worked with some of the top theatres in the Twin Cities, including the Old Log Theatre, Theatre Elision, Lyric Arts, and Walking Shadow Theatre company. As a director, with a specialization in youth theatre, Maureen prides herself on creating spaces that are inclusive, collaborative, and foster long-lasting professional relationships.

When she's not in the theatre, you'll find her running her communications and copywriting business, writing songs, novels, and plays, or shouting "Can I pet your dog?" as she chases strangers down the street.
